Ben's Fisherman Knit

Pattern: Child's Aran Pullover, size 6
Yarn: Plymouth Encore Color 517 Worsted Weight
Content: 75% Acrylic, 25% Wool
Needles: #3 for ribbing, #5 for all of the rest

A straight forward pattern that would have been done much sooner if the holidays hadn't come along.

Speaking of holidays, I'm lucky to have another knitter in the family who made me the nicest pair of socks for Christmas. They're so comfy that they've taken over as my favorite socks. You know...the ones you put on and your toes wiggle because they're so happy.

  1. I'm a fellow Mainer and knitter, and I've made the Yankee Knitter fisherman's sweater (as a cardigan), many times. Five times, in fact, in sizes 1,4 6, 8, and women's 38. Isn't it a great pattern? I've got the urge to start another before long. Great job on yours, by the way.

    1. Hi Jean. So sorry for not replying to your post sooner. I've been away from knitting for a couple of years but just started up again this fall. Yes, a love the pattern and am making the pattern again, this time for my own grandson. Hopefully I'll get back into blogging as soon as I have a little more to show.
